Hi! I’m Courtney, a sophomore at Saint Joseph’s University studying communications. Over the past year, I have found my areas of passion. I volunteered about once a week, every week, for my first year helping teachers and students at a local underprivileged school. It was a very gratifying experience incorporating service and school into one. I have also made 3 short films during my time here while taking a film class, which has inspired me to embrace my love of film in communications.
In my spare time, I love to experiment with different art mediums. My favorites are painting and photography. I also adore watching movies and shows I’ve never seen. I have a movie list that I hope to finish one day so I can become a well-rounded film lover. Another one of my favorite things to do is look at pictures of my pets, especially my tuxedo cat, Stevie (named after Stevie Nicks).
